PSALM 91
You who dwell in the shelter of the Most High, who rest in the shadow of the Almighty; say to the Lord "My Refuge, my God in whom I trust"
He will rescue you from the prowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with His pinions and give you refuge under His wings. His faithfulness is your shield.
You shall not fear the terror of the night nor the arrows that fly by day; nor the pestilence that stalks by night and the plague that destroys at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side; ten thousand at your right hand. But nothing shall befall you. Look and see how the wicked are repaid.

The 3 o’ clock Prayer
You died, Jesus, but the source of life flowed out for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world.
O Fountain of Life, immeasurable Divine Mercy, cover the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.
O Blood and Water which flowed out from the heart of Jesus as a Fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and the whole world (3x). Amen.

A TEACHER’S PRAYER
Lord Jesus, when You lived and
worked and talked amongst men in Palestine, they called you Teacher.
Help me to remember the greatness of
the work which has been given to me to do; that I work with the most precious
material in the world, the mind of the youth. Help me always to remember that I
am making marks upon that mind which time will never rub out.
Give me patience with those who are
slow to learn, and even with those who refuse to learn. When I have to exercise
discipline, help me to do so in sterness and yet in love. Keep me from the
sarcastic and the biting tongue, and help me always to encourage those who are
doing their best, even if that best is not very good.
Help me to help my students, not
only to store things in their memories, but to be able to use their minds, and
to think for themselves. And amidst all the worries and the frustrations of my
job, help me to remember that the future of the nation and of the world is in
my hands. Amen.

glorious Saint Theresa, whom the Almighty God has raised up to aid and counsel
mankind, I implore your miraculous intercession. So powerful are you in
obtaining every need of body and soul our Holy Mother Church proclaims you a
“Prodigy of Miracles”… the Greatest Saint of Modern Times.” Now I fervently
beseech you to answer my petition (mention
here) and to carry out your promises of spending Heaven doing good upon earth… of
letting fall from Heaven a Shower of Roses. Henceforth, dear Little Flower,

Prayer of Pope Francis for the

Lord Jesus Christ, You have
taught us to be merciful like the heavenly Father, and have told us that
whoever sees You, sees Him. Show us Your face and we will be saved. Your loving
gaze freed Zacchaeus and Matthew from being slaved by money; the adulteress and
Magdalene from seeking happiness only in created things; made Peter weep after
his betrayal, and assured Paradise to the repentant thief. Let us hear, as if
addressed to each one of us, the words that You spoke to the Samaritan woman:
“If you knew the gift of God!”
You are the visible face of the
invisible Father, of the God who manifests His power above all by forgiveness
and mercy; let the Church be Your visible face in the world, its Lord risen and
glorified. You willed that Your ministers would also be clothed in weakness in
order that they may feel compassion for those in ignorance and error: let
everyone who approaches them feel sought after, loved, and forgiven by God.
Send Your Spirit and consecrate
every one of us with its anointing, so that the Jubilee of Mercy may be a year
of grace from the Lord, and Your Church, with renewed enthusiasm, may bring

of Padua
O, dear St. Anthony, here I am before you. I
come to ask for your intercession, moved by my need and trust in your
compassionate goodness that everyone knows how it consoles. Hear my intercessor
before God, speak for my name to the Heavenly Father of mercy, and obtain the
grace which I particularly need.
I know that my faith is weak but you, who
possessed this virtue in an admirable way and that faith was stirred with your
preaching in the crowd, revive that faith in me and make it stronger and purer.
You who have taken an evangelical life, help me to make mine more Christian, in
a way of being a worthy child of the Father who is in heaven.
O Saint Anthony, come with your help in my
weakness; keep me away from every illness and danger of soul and body; help me
always to have faith in God, especially in the moments of trial and pain.

Holy
Spirit, You who makes me see everything and shows me the way to reach my ideal.
You who gives me the divine gift to forgive and forget all the wrong that is
done to me and You who are in all instances of my life, is with me. I, in this
short dialogue, want to thank You for everything and affirm once more that I
never want to be separated from You no matter how great the material desires
may be. I want to be with You and my loved ones in Your perpetual glory. To
that end and submitting to God’s will through the love of His Son, Jesus Christ,
