It was during the kiss of the summer
solstice
And the embrace of the southwest
monsoon
That I stumbled upon something
subtle
A poetry of equanimity
Either spoken or written words are
not enough
To express what had surged and ebbed
The mackerel sky, the infinite
zenith
Glorious to bring this relief
Well, at least, if human beings out
there
Presented this weirdo loneliness
In their silence, their eyes scream
Their indifference and then leave
But my wellspring of inspiration is
always up there
Creamy, iridescent clouds... the
starry firmament
It was during the kiss of the summer
solstice
